How to raise our children.
Khalil Jibran – beautiful words – every single word of that poem carries the scent of the heavens.
We should feel lucky that he chose us to carry His genetic codes.
“ He loves the arrows, but he loves the bow too.”
We are only a vehicle of genetic material, but Shunyata ( nothingness ) is the ultimate creator, thinker, doer, master planner, and executor.
HE IS EVERYTHING, yet all we have to say is, “ He is my son.”
Ours is the Ego driven society.
Ego is all we know.
Even if want to, we don’t know any other way to live or speak or act or behave.
That shows us that there is ignorance of pandemic proportion.
That’s why we need meditation, connect with a thoughtless state of nothingness, realize that NOTHINGNESS IS EVERYTHINGNESS , and then maybe, we can take a different path than what we all have been on so far.
Treat children as independent souls.
Love them, but don’t bind them with your expectations.
Respect their freedom to explore in life, rather than just giving haphazard answers to precious questions like,” Where is God?”
Let them explore this mysterious life, rather than just take them to temples and tell them to bow down to statues as their God.
He will believe this because he believes you.
If you haven’t found God, just say, ” I don’t know. “
