Mind and Enlightenment.

Mind is not an instrument that will take you to enlightenment.

So, stop investing your time in the mind ( beyond what is necessary for daily life ).

Once you rely on the mind, it will keep taking you back and back into the repetitive slippery slopes of Sansar, in one form or the other, one problem to the next, each one unsolvable, one object of desire to the next, never reaching anywhere, one guru to the next, one temple to the following, one scripture to the next, but never into enlightenment.

This is all the mind can do.

The mind is a product of the enlightened state of consciousness but not consciousness itself.

A wave is a wave, not an ocean.

A painting by Picasso is a painting, not Picasso.

This has to be firmly studded in your inner psyche.

When you realize this and realize the trickeries of the mind, your journey beyond will start.

Mind was devised to be an instrument, to be enslaved, not to be our boss.

You may make friends with your slave, as you want only friends in your life and not enemies, so don’t fight with it, but do not follow its advice.

If you do, it will only take you to the slum quarters, not the heavens, because it doesn’t know its path.
