Where is God?
Consciousness presents itself to us only in the present moment.
The present moment is very subtle, very Chanchal ( mobile ), and very delicate; it is very difficult to grasp.
Why?
Because, our minds are filled with nothing but boulders and boulders of self-created trash.
Under these boulders lies the delicate flower of consciousness, almost annihilated.
Yet, we constantly keep on searching for God without ever realizing that we are the biggest and, in reality, the only obstacle to self-realization.
Despite all that, look at the compassion of the consciousness; every second, like an unfailing clockwork, it keeps presenting itself, “hoping” that we will someday wake up.
( This is just to make a point; the Consciousness does not have emotions, and someday out of nowhere it will stop presenting itself. )
The day we realize this at our deeper core, revolution happens.
THE LIFE comes alive in every single moment, and the past, the future, all our projections, desires for objects of pleasure, futuristic goals, complaints about life, and fantasies, all come to an end.
That’s when the Ego loses its purpose, total acceptance happens, merging happens with the vast consciousness, and peace prevails.
Samadhi is –
No vichar ( thoughts ).
No Vasanas ( desires ).
No smriti ( memories ). and
No Kalpana ( fantasies ).
– Osho.
