By finding the silent lake of consciousness within.
Being silent is – not even “knowing “ that you are silent.
Meditation connects you with the lake of consciousness; consciousness is a non-doer.
A spiritual life is a life of a non-doer.
One swimming in the lake of consciousness thinks when he needs to think and acts when he needs to act, with no rush or intention to change the world, and accepting everyone as they are, INCLUDING ONESELF.
The remedy for fixing one’s vrttis ( inclinations ) and vasanas ( desires ) is not to fight with them but to remain a non-doer, with freedom from one’s own mind.
And mind starts “dying out” just by non-attention, as attention ( importance ) was its food.
