The “I” is not just a physical “I”; it is a mixture of our physical body and the mind ( produced by our interactions with the physical world ).
Transcending “I” is transcending both aspects of “I”: the body and the mind.
What remains is the consciousness, the life, the existence ( AMness ), independent of “I”.
The life (life-giving life ) is in the center of it all, by itself, witnessing the whole interplay of Sansar without moving, just like a non-moving axle is in the center of the wheel.
Forms come and go around the axis of this unmoving life.
AMness, the life-giving life, the very life that never dies
