We feed on Sansar ( our mind feeds on Sansar ).
And food is not just food; food is also attention, appreciation, respect, position, knowledge ( scriptural or other ), desires, objects of pleasure, money, etc.
As long as Sansar is our food, purity is impossible, as Sansar is impure.
All Sansaric products are impure, short-lasting, and detrimental to physical and mental health.
And it is fine; it is its nature.
If Sansar was pure, who would be searching for Parmatma?
A great Wisdom is needed to realize this.
As wisdom becomes denser, one realizes that THE SELF does not need food (of any kind ) and is self-sufficient.
Don’t misinterpret this as staying hungry or thirsty, giving away all your money, etc.
That’s childish.
It’s the desires of the mind that need to be fixed.
Only through meditation can one realize the mind’s hunger and its runnings.
Knowing one’s own faults as the cause of one’s suffering, drops one’s Ego and merging into THE SELF happens, where there are no desires.
Physical health is important but mental health is also very important.
Be aware how the Sansar is polluting both.
Awareness is the first step towards the inner self.
