Wisdom is that vital link that will let you transcend the mind.

And the mind is a collection of KNOWN AND KNOWABLE.

Once you enter into the field of consciousness, you realize that the mind is a very small instrument with limited capacity.

KNOWING is the mind’s function.

What it already knows, it holds onto it ( KNOWN ), and what it does not know, it keeps on trying to know ( KNOWABLE ).

If I tell you to describe my grandson, you can’t because you have not seen him, but he is KNOWABLE.

Once I show you his picture, then he becomes KNOWN to you.

That’s why the mind is a collection of KNOWN and KNOWABLES, and these two make the whole Sansar.

That’s why food for the mind is Sansar.

The day Sansar disappears mind gets baffled because Sansar is all it knows.

But the mind makes this knowledge its possession and walks around with Ego, and that’s its biggest mistake.

Meditation is the only reprieve from the foolish mind, leading you to wisdom.

नास्ति बुद्धिरयुक्तस्य न चायुक्तस्य भावना |
न चाभावयत: शान्तिरशान्तस्य कुत: सुखम् || 66||
nāsti buddhir-ayuktasya na chāyuktasya bhāvanā
na chābhāvayataḥ śhāntir aśhāntasya kutaḥ sukham
na—not; asti—is; buddhiḥ—intellect; ayuktasya—not united; na—not; cha—and; ayuktasya—not united; bhāvanā—contemplation; na—nor; cha—and; abhāvayataḥ—for those not united; śhāntiḥ—peace; aśhāntasya—of the unpeaceful; kutaḥ—where; sukham—happiness

One who is not connected ( with self ) ( ayuktasya ) cannot develop buddhi ( wisdom ).

He cannot meditate ( Bhavna) either.

Without meditation, there is no shanti ( inner peace ).

And

Without inner peace, there is no sukh ( contentment ).

We ( Ego ) spend our whole life in the KNOWN ( GYAT ), and UNKNOWN BUT KNOWABLE ( AGYAT ), and never get a glimpse of AGHYEY ( UNKNOWABLE ).

Wisdom ( buddhi ) lifts us.

Buddhi is anti-ego; it clears the path toward the AGHYEY.

Buddhi says you don’t have to own everything in the world; you don’t have to win every argument; you don’t have to be on top of everything; because with all your efforts, you will still be dabbling in the same Sansar as always, and never come out of it.

There is another world where there is no running, no friction, no suffering, just peace and contentment.

For Buddhi to lead you to Parmatma, it has to be practiced in action.

Difficult decisions have to be taken.

Mind and its desires need to be neglected in favor of wisdom.

Once wisdom takes a foothold in your daily life, a platform starts getting built within you for the mansion of consciousness to be built on.
