Assimilation, an important method in meditation.
The path of meditation is a path of assimilation.
Accept everything, reject nothing.
Don’t fight thoughts.
Don’t reject thoughts.
Don’t classify thoughts (as good, bad, etc ).
( Doing this only gives them power ).
Accepting all thoughts leads to the assimilation of thoughts ( as a group, as a phenomenon, rather than individual thoughts ), and assimilation leads to transcendence, a state beyond thoughts (a thoughtless state ).
Even then, accept both.
Accept thoughts and also accept the thoughtless state.
Accepting both leads to further transcendence into a total, homogenous existence in which everything and everyone is welcomed.
Thoughts are not separate from thoughtless states; they are its modifications. ( Waves are modified oceans.)
Sansar is not separate from Parmatma but is a modified Parmatma ( consciousness ).
Dvait is not separate from Advait, it is a modified Advait.
That’s when eternal life springs from within in the form of vast existence, bringing eternal peace.
