The flame of consciousness is steady.

Whatever unsteady is, is Sansar ( san saran = anything that moves ).

The steady flame of consciousness is in the heart of this continuously moving Sansar ( people, objects, situations, thoughts, intelligence, mind, intellect ).

And it is within us.

The flame of a candle needs at least a candle.

The flame of consciousness is swayambhu (self-created) and is perpetual.

Everything else is its products, but itself stands apart, never created ( and so never will be destroyed ).
