Love and Hate 2 – Analysis
There are a few very important things to learn from this.
1. Irrespective of whatever her friend did, the questioner created hatred within her mind and suffered.
Hatred did not come flying in from outside.
That means – “Je bhogave eni bhul “ ( If you are suffering, go deep, and eventually, you will realize that fault is yours. )
If hatred was “given “ to the questioner, it would still exist.
2. Unconditional love also arose from within. Nobody gave it to her.
That means hatred and love are both within us.
Raam is within us, and Raavan is also within us.
3. How was hatred created?
Her pure consciousness (which we all have) got modified to create hatred within her mind in response to other person’s behavior.
That means hatred was created by modifying her own consciousness only.
4. Love arose from within when she was in a deep meditative state, and she was only an observer of her mind and Ego.
So, it couldn’t have arisen from my mind.
It arose from consciousness itself.
That means love is the natural state of consciousness. ( not a modified form like hatred, limited by the mind ).
That means we all can emit love if we choose to drop our self-created hatred.
(Due to the inability to do this, we see it all around us. Hatred is all over).
5. Hatred was a modification of the pure consciousness.
When this vrtti ( tendency ) to hate was dropped, she connected with the consciousness and experienced a faint glimpse of Godliness.
6. That means she was harboring a bud of wisdom and love all along, and now it has blossomed into a flower.
7. This shows that the spiritual path is difficult but not impossible.
You would need to be ready to sacrifice your Ego.
Devotion and patience are a must.
8. Being able to allow unconditional love to come out requires long sadhana, but the truth eventually comes out.
9. Love in its pure state, is a gift of consciousness, and it can override any negativistic vrttis, like anger, greed, lust, hatred, everything.
Advait will always win over dvait ( duality ).
The whole play is within us, not outside, and here we are, we keep blaming each other for our problems.
Meditation is more needed than ever.
One person’s experience can change the lives of many.
