The Problem is in You.

A lady goes to a doctor and complains, “ Doc, I have multiple fractures.”

“Where?” Doctor asks.

“All over. See.” She said the lady pressed her finger on her head, face, neck, arms, legs, feet, etc.

“See, wherever I touch, it hurts. Can you help me?” She asks.

The doctor examines the lady and concludes.

“ Lady, you have no other fractures; you only have a fractured finger.”

Is there any spiritual message in this joke?

The problem is not the world; the problem is us.

We all say that duality is the cause of suffering – friction, competition, complexes, desires, etc, but what is the cause of the duality?

Where does it arise from?

For duality to arise and sustain, “ME” is absolutely necessary, and only then can “MINE” start—my car, family, religion, etc.

If we can dissolve ME, MINE will automatically dissolve.

We are like clouds of smoke ( as we discussed earlier ), constantly changing in shape and size and eventually thinning out into nothingness.

We know our bodies are constantly changing and will disappear into nothingness one day, yet we keep trying hard to maintain that smoke ring appearance.

In searching within, anything like Ego is nowhere to be found.

We work very hard to maintain our Ego by trying to acquire more and more.

Merging in the self dissolves our foolish belief about the Ego, and only then can we LIVE a peaceful life of Advait.
