The ultimate Freedom

The ultimate Freedom

To be free is the ultimate driving force of meditation.

However, our freedom cannot happen until we realize what is our dependence.

In meditation, every thought that arises concerns an object, a person, or a situation.

Why do they arise?

Due to our deep, hidden desires ( wanting something from those objects, people, or situations ).

Mindfulness, or “ being aware of your thoughts, “ is of course, the first step in meditation.

But mindlessness is not the actual meditation; it’s only a preparation for one.

It is like tying the laces of your running shoes but not running.

Instead of looking at every thought mechanically, a Sadhak must realize that every thought represents their depends on something or someone.

A deep contemplative meditation becomes necessary to realize this fact.

Even after this realization, a sadhak is not expected to know how to break their dependence.

For that, the next step is the most crucial – Parmita.

Parmita is “walking away “ – walking away from thoughts ( as Buddha said ).

This takes a little time and a little patience.

When mindfulness calms your mind, you have to slowly take the next step of Parmita – going within.

In the opposite direction, you find a vast field of awareness, which will become a harbinger of your ultimate freedom.

Sansar is dependency, and the self is the ultimate freedom.
