The universe is conscious.

The universe is conscious.

There is a physical world all around us, which we all know.

But another world exists, and we do not know about it.

This imperceptible world is where we are connected with everything and everyone in the universe, and it is the world of KNOWING.

Knowing keeps the universe interconnected; without it, the universe will lose meaning.

Two people in a room, even if not physically connected, are connected by knowing each other’s presence ( awareness ).

This process of KNOWING creates a KNOWER and the KNOWN.

The KNOWER and the KNOWN cannot exist without the KNOWING, which provides a “bridge” to connect and makes life meaningful.

I know where my phone is – I am the KNOWER and the phone is KNOWN.

This is easy to understand, but what is not easy to understand is this bridge of KNOWING that makes all this happen, it remains imperceptible.

Why?

Because we are lost in the KNOWER ( our EGO ) and the KNOWN ( objects, people, situations )

Meditation is all about recognizing this medium of the KNOWING that connects us all.

It is very subtle, but when realized, one experiences the shunya state ( no knowers and no knowns ).

The KNOWER and the KNOWN need the KNOWING to exist, but the KNOWING itself is self-existent.

The KNOWING “gives birth” ( creates ) the KNOWER and the KNOWN, but nobody or nothing gives birth to the KNOWING; it is unborn and eternal ( ajaat – unborn).

And because it is unborn, it doesn’t die either ( Amar – no death )

One can recognize this divine field via meditation and sincere and steady sadhana.
