Thought of the day.

Thought of the day.

Tea is enjoyable only with the combination of its various components.

If you take tea apart and try to consume its various ingredients individually, you will never get the joy of the tea.

Try eating raw ginger, tea power, or water by themselves.

Similarly, life has many components.

Here, there is sukh ( happiness ), dukh ( unhappiness ), days and nights, hunger and food, thirst and water, there are monsoons, and there are hot summers.

We always want one and not the other.

It doesn’t work that way.

Life is a balance, and you have to have both.

One cannot exist without the other.

If you are hungry, then only food can be appreciated, but without hunger, food will lose its value.

Hard physical work ( dukh ) is needed to enjoy a sukh of a good night’s sleep.

You can’t say, I don’t want to tire my body and still sleep like a laborer at night.

Similarly, thirst makes the water taste like nectar and, without thirst, a poison.

The amalgamation of various opposing situations makes the life.

Nobody ever gets sukh all the time, and vice versa for dukh.

We waste our precious time analyzing when we are in dukh –

Why did this happen to me only?

Who did this to me?

I’m so miserable, etc.

And in sukh, we get lost, as if it is going to last forever.

But when it does end, it brings a lot of suffering.

When one understands this balance of life well, he maintains his awareness all the time.

He does not get inflated in sukh and deflated in dukh.

He does not analyze life and goes with the flow.

He realizes that dukh is a necessary component of life to make you understand the importance of sukh, so he accepts it without diffracting it.

And in sukh, he does not forget the law of life’s balance.

He accepts dukh and sukh both as gifts of THE ONE.

One who dissects their life suffers.

Desires make you run for sukh and away from dukh.

One who has found this balance loses his desires and stops running.

The life – the totality, is unbroken, undivided.

So, its sukh ( bliss state ) is also undivided, perpetual, and never interrupted by dukh, and that’s why no running is required.

Merge with the consciousness and drink the tea of life for eternity.
