Why do we have to Die?

Why do we have to Die?

We have to die because of our karmas.

Karmas are the cause of our death because karmas are the cause of our birth, and anything that is born has to die.

One thing that we hate the most in life is death.

Everybody loves life, but nobody wants to die.

That is not possible.

Life is a dualistic balance.

Just the way there is the duality of day-night, sukh-dukh, life, and death also is a duality without which the cycle of Sansar cannot go on.

Karmas are ego-created (desire-driven) activities to attain happiness and avoid unhappiness.

With this approach, we are fully invested in Sansar, and we have no escape.

When we die, and our desires do not die, a new body becomes necessary, leading to our physical birth and, of course, succeeding death.

So, karmas are the cause of our death.

Birth and death are both, of course, caused by our karmas, but when we attach karmas to birth, it does not sound so bad, as we already are living life, which we love.

But connecting karmas with death becomes more impactful because that’s one thing we all fear.

This can make us more aware of what karmas we bind ourselves to, and find an outlet out of it.
